Several dozen stories (and the occasional comic) the longest of which is three-and-a-half pages; all designed in some way to be horrifying.
This was great fun. As with any anthology, there were contributions that didn’t quite fire – Neil Gaiman’s contribution fell disappointingly flat – but there were more hits than misses. (I was a little miffed that Cassandra Clare – listed as a contributor in large letters on both the front and back covers – wasn’t actually featured anywhere in the book, but there were enough others to make up for the absence. Still, false advertising and all that…)
You’ll finish it in less than an hour, but it’s well worth the read.
