Book The One Hundred And Fifteenth

Gangs by Ross Kemp

Ross Kemp travels the world in search of gangs; to find out who joins them and what they do.

This is Kemp’s memoir of his experiences making the  show Ross Kemp on Gangs, and it’s pretty much what non-fiction should be: Kemp has cherry-picked the most interesting of his experiences and writes about them in an easy style that flows nicely and doesn’t get bogged down in its own seriousness. Kemp also avoids the temptation to preach: he certainly discusses what he sees as the origins of gang culture, and where he sees possible solutions, but this never seems preachy, as he’s saying simply what he has seen and experienced.

Well worth a read
