Book The One Hundred And Seventh

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

You’ve seen Battle Royale, right? Then you probably don’t need to read this one.

I’m being awfully negative recently. I mean, this was an okay read – went along at a nice pace, and its take on dystopian-future-with-bloody-games was just original enough to stave off boredom – but its nothing that hasn’t been done before.

Good way to kill a few hours, but in summation: it was good enough that I considered reading the sequel, but not good enough that I was willing to spend the extra fifteen bucks to get said sequel in hardback.
