Dawn French’s memoir, written in the form of letters to the people that have shaped her life.
Pleasant enough wee read. Anyone who is familiar with French’s comedy will know what they’re going to find in this book. It is not, by-and-large, laugh-out-loud funny, but there is a lot of gentle humour, an she tells a good story.
There’s probably not enough to satisfy anyone who isn’t already a fan, but if you like her work, you’ll like her book.
