Book The Seventy-First

The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman

The first forty-eight issues of The Walking Dead, compiled into something about the size and heft of a phone book.

Kirkman’s idea behind his series is a good one: zombie movies show the plucky survivors holed up in a house, or a mall, or a bunker, or whatever, until most of them die, and the last few left walk into the sunset. Well, what happens then? Kirkman wants to follow them for years, and see what happens.

So, yeah, if you don’t like zombies, this is probably not for you, but if you do, this is exactly the sort of thing you should read: a zombie story that just keeps going and going and going.

Awesome.
