Book The Sixty-Ninth

Candy Girl by Diablo Cody

The memoir by Diablo Cody – writer of Juno – about her year as a stripper.

Lots of fun. Certainly not one for the children, but well written and engaging. Of course, I did occasionally find myself wondering what the saucy wenches over at The Hand Mirror would think of this, given that Cody basically became a stripper for lulz (as I understand the children to say) and stayed one even under exploitative conditions for, well, more lulz.

Regardless, it’s a good read.
