Naomi and Ely are best friends, and to ensure that continues, they have created the titular list to make sure that their respective crushes stay off limits. Then Ely kisses Naomi’s sexually confused boyfriend, and terrible teen-angst ensues.
This book is great. It is genuinely clever and hip, and almost never tries too hard to be either. Sure, it’s definitely made for a teen audience, but it is leagues ahead of most of the other god-awful teen fiction I’ve been subjecting myself to for the last little while.
