Book The Sixteenth

Memories by Katsuhiro Otomo

A collection of short works by the guy who did the manga classic Akira. Pretty much what you’d expect – a bunch of dystopian futures where every second person has weird psionic powers or wears a big robot battle suit, but entertaining for it. As someone who likes words over pictures, I found this to suffer from the perennial problem of manga, which is to say relatively little plot for the page-count, but the stories are clear, crisp and well-told.
